The National Stem Cell Association is the premiere advocacy organization representing clinics across the country in Washington, DC before legislative and regulatory policy makers. The NSCA federal affairs team provides members with on the ground representation, monitoring legislation, grassroots outreach, direct lobbying engagement, and a strong presence and voice on Capitol Hill covering a variety of issue areas within the regenerative medicine healthcare arena, so that you can focus on quality of care, your patients, and your practice.
Policy & Legislation
The National Stem Cell Association offers key member benefits in legislative and regulatory policy development to promote a robust and growing stem cell treatment community free from unnecessary burdens and harmful regulations that hinder quality of care. NCSA tracks and mobilizes on issues that could harm the growth of stem cell clinics and their ability to operate within the United States. NCSA also proactively engages with agencies such as the FDA and NIH to seek scientific research and funding opportunities to foster the industry’s expansion as an acceptable healthcare option.
Grassroots Outreach
The National Stem Cell Association leverages a network of industry professionals to create a grassroots network of informed and engaged participants in the policy process. NSCA will consistently keep you informed on relevant policy developments matters and may from time to time reach out to engage you on the most important topics. NSCA, working with National Write Your Congressman (NWYC), will also offer a number of mobile apps that facilitate and inform your ability to communicate directly with your elected officials in Washington on critical upcoming legislation affecting stem cell operators, making sure that your voice is heard, and helping you to collaborate with others on the same issues to magnify your collective impact. NSCA also offers a host of civic education opportunities related to stem cell therapy to teach advocates about the political process and how to better communicate with Congress to substantively effect policy goals.
National Write Your Congressman
National Write Your Congressman (NWYC) is an organization that gives small businesses a voice in American government. As the nation’s largest privately held, nonpartisan membership organization made up of small businesses, NWYC is dedicated to the delivery of constituent opinions to representatives in Washington.
